Multi Loose Tube structure is made of an assembly of colored tubes around a central
strength element. Outdoor cables guarantees the protection of cable where the mechanical
damage risk exists and also to guarantee stability towards environmental influences such as frost
and humidity A swelling water-blocking tape is applied over tubes and swelling water-blocking
yarns will be applied over central strength member. Aramid yarns are helically applied
over the tube to provide additional tensile strength to the cable. Corrugated steel tape
armour provides additional mechanical (crush and rodent) protection with a high- strength
ripcord under the armour for easy stripping. Polyethylene (PE) sheath which is resistant to
stress cracking and UV radiation. These types of cables have a supporting messenger wire in
gure 8 configurations.
